You need the java plugin by Sun MicroSystems Corporation visit www.java.com

3) Click "config" tab and then click "defaults" then save.
-The YEAR is YY format 04 as in this year. This is handy incase you want to back track to a specific log recording by sfc.exe.

4) After config is saved click "Run" tab and click execute.
5) For reports tab to work you need to restart.
6) Read just that little bit in [Using SFCFiler] and away you GO!

Using SFCFiler
--------------
In RUN Tab, you can simply press "EXECUTE" to backup your last "SFC.EXE" reported files. If you have just have YY filled, it will look for the last entry in c:\windows\sfclog.txt.

If you used SFC.EXE in the past, you can backtrack by going through the dates from TOP to DOWN of, "c:\windows\sfclog.txt". Type in the exact DATE and TIME of a particular sfclog reported files, then click RUN(There maybe a few errors reported, this is normal, as you might have uninstalled files in the past).
