Publishing as a Screen Saver
Presentation Publisher can turn your presentation into a Windows Screen Saver
which will run on any Windows computer. When published, a single EXE file
will be created. This EXE file is an INSTALL program that will install the
screen saver when it is executed.
Screen Saver presentations can not call or link to other presentations.
Only one presentation can be made into a screen saver at one time.
When you publish your Screen Saver presentations, they will each be placed in a SUB
FOLDER (which is the presentation name) off of xxxxxx\Published
Presentations\Screen Saver Presentations (Where
xxxxxx is the name of the folder that Presentation Publisher program was
installed into)
To send your Screen Saver to a friend or associate, just send them the single
EXE file that was created. Then tell them to execute this file on their
system. When they do this, the screen saver will be installed on their
system and they can view it the same as any other Windows Screen Saver.
Screen Saver File Name
When you publish a screen saver, you must enter in a filename for the SCR
file that is created. The name you give this file will also be what shows up in the
list of Windows screen savers on your users system after the screen saver is
installed. The max length of this filename is 100 Characters.
