THE LAUNCH GROUPS POP-UP EDIT MENU

The pop- up edit menu is the main tool for creating and editing your Launch Groups display. You use this menu to add, delete or modify any of the entries in the display. This menu pops up next to your mouse cursor any time you right-click on a group or file in the LaunchGroups tool.

The menu is automatically programmed to offer only those options that are legal or relevant to the entry on which you clicked.  In the example pictured, the “Edit File” option is grayed out and therefore unavailable; nothing happens if you click on that option (this happens to be a picture of the menu that pops up when you right-click on a custom launch group; since you did not click on a file, the “Edit File” option is not applicable.)

Here are quick descriptions of -- and links to -- each of the edit menu options:

Add File
Add a new audio file to the clicked launch group. Displays a small form asking for the caption and file path of the file you wish to add to the display.

Add Group
Add a new launch group to the display.  New groups can be added either directly to the “Groups” anchor or “inside” other previously created launch groups. Displays a small form asking for the name of the new group.

Edit File
Change the attributes of the clicked file entry (e.g. change the file name or entry caption). Displays a small form asking for the new file name and path.

Rename
Change the name of the clicked group. Displays a small form asking for the new group name.

Delete
Delete the clicked group or file. If you choose to delete a group that has files or other groups within it, Harbor will pop up a dialog box warning you that all items within that group will be deleted as well, and give you a chance to change your mind before deleting the group.
