DRAGGING AND DROPPING INTO THE QUICKLAUNCHER

Audio files can be dragged and dropped right into individual QuickLaunch presets from Windows Explorer or other applications, or from a File Detail view in the DB Viewer.

When you drag and drop a filename onto a QuickLaunch preset, the small configuration window for that preset will automatically pop up. The full path and filename for the dragged file will appear an in the “File/Path” field, and if there is a user-defined caption for that file in your user database, Harbor will find it and display it automatically in the “Caption” field.

Passing your mouse over the “File/Path” field after such a drop will display the full file path of any audio file previously configured into that preset (if any). This makes sense because the newly dropped information has not yet been saved with the “OK” button, and it allows the user to confirm what the old setting is for that preset before overwriting it with the new one.

Dragging and Dropping Lists of Files
If a list of files is dragged from Explorer into a QuickLaunch preset – i.e. if more than one file was selected in Explorer when the drag was started – Harbor will drop the first file into the preset and ignore the rest of the list.
