USING A WAVEFORM EDITOR WITH HARBOR You can closely link the Harbor Audio
Manager with your favorite audio file editing program (a.k.a.
“waveform editor”), allowing you to quickly edit any audio file in
your inventory. With a single mouse click from Harbor, you can launch your favorite waveform editor program to edit the audio file of your choice. You can even have Harbor automatically
launch your editor software with the audio file of your choice already
loaded into it and ready for editing.
Configuring Harbor for your editor In order to be able to use this feature,
you first have to go into Harbor’s Tools/Preferences
menu and set the “Waveform Editor”
options accordingly. Clicking this button will automatically
launch your editor program in a separate window. If you have not yet configured an editor
program for use by Harbor and you click the “Waveform Editor”
button, Harbor will pop up a warning message stating that no editor has
yet been configured, and that you need to do so in Harbor’s
“Tools/Preferences” menu before you can use this button. Exporting files into the editor The help section entitled "Supported Waveform Editors" provides a partial list of waveform editors that have been tested for compatibility with Harbor's Waveform Editor button and the "Export file" feature.
