Use more than one PC
With organisation licence it is possible to
use several laptop PCs spred around the trac to take interval times.
To use more than one PC to register times in a
competition, you have to copy the file to the other PC 's when the file is
ready to start the competition. Synchronise the clocks so they work at exactly
the same time.
Synchronise the clocks
Adjust the right time on PC 1. Write in the time
some seconds ahead on PC 2 in "Select new "in "Adjust the watch
"window and click the "Set button" when the times are exactly
the same. Repeat for the rest of the PCs. The synchronised time is stored
automatically when you save the program. You can now turn of your PC and the
time will still be synchronised when the PCs are turned on again. The altered
time will not invoke the PCs system clock.
Use Automatic start
In competitions where more than one PC are used it
is recommended that you use automatic start. (See the Take time window ). This
will ensure that all the times are correct in all the PCs during the
competition. If you not use automatic start, the times will not be correct
until you copy all the times in to the PC that are registrating times at the
start position. Those PCs that are not used to registrar start has to start the
competitors anyway to be able to registrar interval times and finish times.
An example of use
Use 4 PCs .PC 1 at start position. PC 2 at
Interval time 1, PC 3 at Interval time 2 and PC 4 at Finish. Register all the
times on the different PCs.

Avoid double registration. All the start times
will of course be in all the PCs, so if you don 't use Automatic start you have
to copy the times in to the PC that are used to take the start times. After the
competition, you must import the times in to one PC. Preferably the PC that
started the runners. All the times will now be correct even if you don't used
automatic start.
To import times
Choose Import other times taken from the menu. A
new window will show. Chose a file to import. Now you will see if ther are
times to import from the file. The green numbers at the left will show times
that can be imported. The red numbers at the right will show the times that
already are in. If you choose Overwrite existing times, all the times from the
imported file will be used for the chosen places. Click Import to import the
times. |
