This is a new beta version of Collections MAX

The online docs section of the website is a bit out dated due to drastic changes.
We will be upgrading the docs section shortly.

Make sure to comment out the bind 127.0.0.1 directive in your my.ini file
so you can connect over a network.

The scheduler needs to be configured with Windows Task Scheduler.
Do not set scheduler to run more than once a day and make sure that it runs everyday. You now configure the scheduler settings inside Administrator in the Utilities / Settings section.

One of the biggest changes is importing accounts.

To import accounts into Collections MAX

1. Your excel file MUST have the first line in each column as a column name
2. Save your Excel file to a csv file
3. In Administrator, open utilities / Import Mapping Utility.
4. Open the csv file that has your data.
5. Collections MAX will fill the database fields with the fields from your file.
6. Select the fields that correspond to the fields in your file.
7. Fill out the next section when prompted
7. Create your sheet.

Collections MAX will display any errors that it finds in the file.
Take note of this.

Save your import as a CSV file (click the button on the left).

Close out the Import mapping utility.

(the next section is covered in the online docs for better reference)

Click on Import from the main control panel.

Open the file in the Import screen. If Collections MAX prompted you for fields that was missing then you will need to fill them out in this screen.

Click Test.

If all is good Collections MAX will say "Test Passed! Accounts ready for import."
Click the Import to Database button and follow the next screens.
